It depends on where you are and what you ordered. Generally Hand Made jacket orders will take 7-20 business days to be made and shipped, depending on materials and order volume . Each Tracking is uploaded after completion of the jacket. Please wait patiently, these are hand made jackets and like any hand made product takes time to create. Please allow for 2 weeks before inquiring about your order.
Pre-orders: For new items or custom designs will not have an estimated delivery time as they need to be built and released.

Buying leather a little smaller is okay, it will break in around 1 inch with movement and body heat.
Soft Napa leather – 1 week or less break in period
Sheepskin / Goatskin – 2-3 week break in period
Please do not do aggressive movements or push the leather past its limits during this period.

We ship in mailer bag that are packed tight to keep international shipping costs down, keeping the price lesser for you, the end consumer.

We are EURO fitted. Our size is similar to fits from Italy or the UK.
Because we sell in US/CANADA we make sure to educate on this topic.
If you are a standard US t-shirt size MEDIUM and you want a relaxed fit, you may want to go to a size LARGE Luca Designs, for example. This method works for 90 percent of our customers.
Secondly, you can properly measure yourself and compare to the size chart to best understand where you fit. It’s important to know that you will have some stretch room with real leather and that nobody will perfectly fit the measurements. If the measurements are well off, you either measured incorrectly or require custom sizing.

Our costs for custom tailoring is quite inexpensive and just covers our time to tailor and added weight of the parcel.
It has a reasonable surcharge of +$100 on top of the price of the jacket but will take a few additional weeks to complete.

It depends on our creator. Minor customization may be possible for a fee. All standard options are outlined on the product page. If you are looking for a custom design you can submit a commission but note that we do not accept all custom requests.
Yes, we are now open for new custom jacket commission ! If you have a jacket idea, you can submit your project on the design commission page with as much detail as possible.
You can put a small amount of lubricant on your fingers and rub it on the zipper teeth under the zipper pull area to help it slide better. (Good household trick). Replacement of the zipper is almost never required for small snags. Please never torque the zipper to prolong its life-span. Check to make sure there are no threads catching (very rare to happen but it’s okay to snip a loose thread.)
Yes ! Our mens and womens jackets have fully functional pockets, including one or two inner pockets. Only some of the really short crop top or special material designs like Black Widow and Black Corset don’t have inner pockets.
Yes, we offer most of our designs in real and VEGAN LEATHER. You can choose the material in the options on the product offering page. If vegan leather isn’t already available, feel free to email us at hello@lucajackets.com to request it or see if we can make it happen. Most vegan materials are similar colors to the real leather but can never perfectly match.

We accept returns for store credit or another jacket only due to the nature of the make to order service. Email us directly with your order # and we’ll take you through the process.

We recommend getting your return label online with your preferred carrier. Feel free to use USPS flat rate or the cheapest method for return and provide us with the tracking number. Signature delivery is NOT required. Please gain a return permission prior to returning.
We have 2 returns facilities for USA or International. You will be given instructions on return requests.
Please note we only offer exchanges or store credit. For any return, all tags must be attached and it must be in re-sellable condition to avoid a disallow of the return.
Standard Restock fee for anything made to order is $30 +29.99 (new shipping if you are getting a new jacket) This is required before sending the product back. These fees cover expenses for holding your return and paying for priority shipping.
You can choose any item in the store once this is paid to get as a replacement of the same value. If you wish to upgrade leathers, we can do that as well. Just let us know before paying the restock fee.
Once complete let us know the new size or new jacket we need to make you.
